In just a few short days a major transformation will again take place….changing the Heart Of Oklahoma Expo Center from a simple multi-purpose building into a well-organized auction event. With skill, technical expertise and experience, the Triangle Team will prepare the auction ring, arrange seating, erect stalls, connect electronics, strategically place signage and the sale office will move in and be organized for the 39th Triangle Spring Sale. Longtime Auctioneer for Triangle Horse Sales, Col. Steve Friskup is one of the reasons why many people make the trek across the country to attend the auctions. Steve sat down for a chat about the horse industry, the art of auctioneering, his love of preaching and the 34th anniversary of his career which began at the Triangle January Sale!

From Start-Up to Successful Auction Company! The Story Of Triangle Horse Sales
Burned by bad experiences at horse sales, Cindy Bowling and her husband John decided to start their own auction company nearly four decades ago that offered their own point of difference: honesty and good old-fashioned customer service. It’s a formula that proved to be successful, with the company holding four popular sales a year drawing sellers and buyers from around the globe. Now Jim and Carolyn Ware, who purchased the company in the fall of 2014, have continued the same tradition, but added their flair for professionalism and technology to take Triangle to the next level.

The 42nd Triangle Spring Sale had 159 horses sell for $10,000 or more. Of those that entered into Triangle’s $10,000 Club, they averaged $21,800!
•• Ranching and Rope horses averaged $16,000 including this beautiful buckskin gelding!
